Indigenous Awareness Training Level 1: Myths & Misconceptions

Open to the Chamber membership and the general public, this introductory session covers the history of Saskatchewan's First Nation & Métis peoples from pre-contact to today, including Treaties and the TRC Calls to Action. The session takes place over a full day, or 8 hours. Participants are encouraged to engage in dialogue and participate in various exercises throughout the day.
 
This session is a prerequisite to all advanced levels of Indigenous Awareness Training. 
 
Lunch is included. Please list dietary restrictions on the registration form.

Refunds and Withdrawals
 
All courses are conditional upon a minimum enrollment. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If we cancel a course, a full refund or transfer to another course will be issued.
 
The withdrawal deadline for all courses is 7 calendar days prior to course start date. Transfers may be accepted up to 24 hours before the course date. There is no refund after the withdrawal deadline.
